Okay, so this video from 4allmemory.com actually shows a dimension desktop, but you see installing a hard drive to XPS computer is basically the same thing. If you look inside your dell computer you'll see the same basic elements.
When you have bad time coming, we need to open the CPU and fix few components. watching this video i was able to fix my RAM..as am a newbie and have no knowledge on hardware. I don't know how my RAM got unplugged. your video resolved my issue..Love you!@Sara
